Our July 20, 2011 conference, A FUTURE: Minnesota Girls Are Not For Sale | Gathering for Connection, Education & Action, was a huge success! The conference brought together 180 people who shared a common interest in ending the prostitution of girls in our state. The keynote speaker, Rachel Lloyd, founder of G.E.M.S, was extremely powerful and captivated the audience with her leadership on this issue. The interactive panel discussion featuring policy makers, law enforcement, advocates and nonprofit service providers was fantastic and provided audience dialogue with Minnesota expert-leaders on this issue. A specially commissioned artistic performance by MaMa mOsAiC Theater for Women demonstrated the power of art to move social change forward. Watch video here.
