PIONEER PRESS, Editorial (10/4/2012) — This year, we found out how much we didn’t know about sex trafficking … and how much we needed to learn. We attended workshops and met with leaders in the fight against trafficking of kids.
There is a mountain of compelling statistics and stories, but we will share just a few that paint the picture: It is estimated that every year in Minnesota, 10,000 to 15,000 people, mostly girls and boys, are prostituted.
