- State Attorney General Jim Hood says, “Human trafficking is one of the three most profitable criminal enterprises in the world, along with the illegal drug and gun trades.”
- That’s why Hood is working with the state legislature to draw attention to and strengthen existing Mississippi laws prohibiting human trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of children.
- Today and tomorrow, Hood will be in Ocean Springs taking part in a seminar for state prosecutors on human trafficking.
